Podle platformy HelloSafe je Česko šestou nejbezpečnější zemí na světě a pátou v Evropě. Je bezpečnější než oblíbené destinace, jako je Itálie, Francie nebo Německo. Platforma zkoumala pět faktorů: kriminalitu, riziko přírodních katastrof, kvalitu zdravotnictví, terorismus a militarizaci. V čem je Česko tak bezpečné? Je to kombinace nízké kriminality, dobré zdravotní péče a mírumilovné společnosti. Česká republika je bezpečnější než Maďarsko, Slovensko a Polsko. Je tedy také nejbezpečnější zemí ve střední Evropě. Celosvětově je pouze pět zemí bezpečnějších než Česká republika. Je to Island, Singapur, Dánsko, Rakousko a Švýcarsko. Některé oblíbené turistické destinace nejsou velmi bezpečné. Řecko je třetí nejnebezpečnější zemí v Evropě, hned za Ruskem a Ukrajinou. Francie, Itálie, Španělsko a Albánie jsou také na konci evropského žebříčku. Celosvětově jsou nejnebezpečnějšími turistickými destinacemi Kolumbie, Mexiko a Venezuela. Česká republika patří mezi nejbezpečnější země světa dlouhodobě. V roce 2023 byla Praha označena za nejbezpečnější město v Evropě a třetí nejbezpečnější město na světě.

Czech Republic is one of the safest tourist destinations in the world
According to the HelloSafe platform, the Czech Republic is the sixth safest country in the world and the fifth safest in Europe. It is safer than popular destinations such as Italy, France or Germany. The platform examined five factors: crime, risk of natural disasters, quality of healthcare, terrorism and militarisation. What makes the Czech Republic so safe? It is a combination of low crime, good healthcare and a peaceful society. The Czech Republic is safer than Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. It is also the safest country in Central Europe. Worldwide, only five countries are safer than the Czech Republic. They are Iceland, Singapore, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland. Some popular tourist destinations are not very safe. Greece is the third safest country in Europe, after Russia and Ukraine. France, Italy, Spain and Albania are also at the bottom of the European ranking. Globally, the most dangerous tourist destinations are Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. The Czech Republic is one of the world's safest countries in the long term. In 2023, Prague was named the safest city in Europe and the third safest city in the world.
