Trump Plans a New Triumphal Arch in Washington DC

US President Donald Trump wants to build a large triumphal arch in Washington DC. He says it will be “the greatest and most beautiful” in the world.

The arch will be about 76 meters tall. This is much taller than the Lincoln Memorial, which is about 30 meters high.

The design includes a large winged figure at the top. There will also be two eagles and four lions. All of these will be covered with gold.

On the arch, there will be two famous phrases: “One Nation Under God” and “Liberty and Justice for All.”

Trump shared the design on his social media platform, Truth Social. He said the arch will be a great place for Americans to visit for many years.

The arch will be built between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery.

Trump said people wanted to build a similar monument about 200 years ago, but it did not happen because of the Civil War. There were also plans in 1902, but they were never completed.

He also said many big cities in the world have monuments like this, but Washington DC does not.

In addition, Trump is planning other changes. He wants to build a large ballroom at the White House. He has already made changes to the Oval Office and turned the Rose Garden into a stone patio.
