Česká a ukrajinská policie zastavila zločineckou skupinu

Policie v České republice a na Ukrajině spolupracovala při zadržení skupiny zločinců. Tato skupina se nacházela na Ukrajině, ale zaměřovala se na osoby v České republice a dalších evropských zemích. Policejní operace nesla název „PATHFINDER“. Hlavní akce proběhla na západní Ukrajině od 29. dubna do 2. května 2025. Policie zatkla 70 osob, včetně 4 hlavních vůdců. Zabavili také mnoho počítačů, telefonů a dalších věcí používaných při trestné činnosti. Zločinci vytvořili falešné webové stránky pro investování peněz. Tyto webové stránky vypadaly jako skutečné. Lidem říkali, aby si do svých počítačů nainstalovali programy. Pomocí těchto programů pak od obětí vybírali peníze. Zveřejňovali také online inzeráty o falešných nabídkách na vydělávání peněz. Zločinci pracovali ve dvoupatrové budově s kamerami a silným zabezpečením. V České republice ukradli více než 9 milionů korun a podvedli nejméně 37 lidí. Celkem tak lidé v EU přišli o miliony eur. Vůdci skupiny mohou jít až na 12 let do vězení a přijít o peníze a majetek.
